I bought my size 4 hotsling before I had my daughter and it fit great right after I had her, she loved to snuggle up in it and would go right to sleep whenever we were out. I found it incredibly easy to put on and since it can be folded up and thrown in a diaper bag it was very convenient. I would definitely keep using it if my daughter wouldn't have gotten any bigger or possibly just didn't get wiggly! I found that once she did gain some height and weight it just wasn't deep enough for me to feel comfortable wearing her around everywhere knowing she could throw a fit at any moment. I felt that I had to have a hand under her "just in case." If it was just a little deeper I think it would have been my favorite sling so far! The material was soft and didn't irritate her even though she has sensitive skin. I will definitely be buying another for my next baby for their first few months!
